What is the difference between the Airfree
Platinum 1000 and the Airfree Platinum 2000?
First Airfree launched the Airfree Platinum 2000, which is designed to clean
rooms up 550 square feet and is available in silver, then a few months later
they introduced the Airfree P1000, which has the same technology and awarded
design, but is designed to clean smaller rooms, up to 450 square feet and is of
color white. The Airfree Platinum 1000 substitutes the old and reliable Enviro60,
which was just for 260 square feet. That means more efficiency at the same price
and with a much more modern design.
One Airfree Platinum 1000 is powerful enough to purify the air in rooms up to 450 sq. ft. and the Airfree Platinum 2000 is designed for rooms up to 550 sq. ft. If the room is larger, please add proportionally more Airfree units.
As there are no HEPA filter or UV bulbs to replace in the Airfree the operation costs are very low. It is designed to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a lower consumption than a 50W light electric bulb.
Does Airfree consume a lot of energy?
No. Airfree's energy consumption is just 45 watts for the Airfree P1000, and 48 Watts for the Airfree P2000.
Does Airfree need filter replacements?
No. Airfree's technology uses heat to destroy all microorganisms. There are no contaminated filters to exchange, nor expensive filters to buy.
Check the top lid, if warm your Airfree unit is working.
Airfree is one of the few air purifier manufacturers that offer detailed copies of independent tests in real life conditions, in large rooms occupied by people, assuring Airfree's outstanding efficiency in the drastic reduction of airborne microorganisms. See test results
Everywhere where clean indoor air is needed, like at home, in offices, kindergartens, schools, universities, retirement homes, archives, libraries, museums, stores, super markets, hospitals, laboratories, ocean cruisers, war vessels, yachts, food and pharmaceutical industries etc. See applications of the Airfree Platinum
Especially people dealing with respiratory problems, like asthma or allergies will feel much better breathing healthy and clean air. Studies demonstrate that reducing dust mite allergen exposure to young children will lessen the development of asthma.
No. The AHAM seal (usually found on the back of an air cleaner’s box) lists three Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) numbers: one for tobacco smoke, one for pollen and one for dust. The CADR indicates volume of filtered air delivered by an air cleaner. The higher the tobacco smoke, pollen and dust numbers, the faster the unit filters the air.
The main reason why CADR is not designed for Airfree is because Airfree does not filter but destroys microorganisms instead, CADR only applies to volume of filtered air delivered by an air cleaner.
CADR does not measure microorganism reduction like mold and bacteria only detectable by a microbiology lab.
Airfree destroys (not trap or attract to another surface) any microorganism regardless of how small they might be. 99,99% of all organic particles are fully destroyed when passing through the Airfree U.S. patented ceramic core.
Airfree incinerates microorganisms at its heated capillaries. Contaminated air is dragged into Airfree's ceramic core by air convection and microorganisms are destroyed at high temperatures regardless of how resistant and dangerous they might be. See how the Airfree Platinum works
No. Airfree's new technology uses heat to purify the air. No side effects, no emissions, no ions, nor new particles are generated. Airfree should be used in all homes and offices, quietly, constantly, and efficiently purifying the air.
Yes, as long as it has at least 330 cu.ft.*. The Airfree unit should not be
placed under shelves or its efficiency will be reduced.
* as reference 330 cu.ft. is approximately 7ft x 7ft x 7ft
Yes.
No. Airfree will just reduce air pollution in the corridor's area.
No. Opening a window for some hours a day will not affect Airfree's efficiency.
Yes. Unlike the air filters in the market, Airfree is more efficient with the smallest microorganisms as they are easily carried by the Airfree's airflow into its heated ceramic core.
The Airfree unit must always be plugged in the same room 24 hours a day. Airfree's patented technology works gradually and cannot have its cycle interrupted. Moving it from one room to another will interrupt the cycle and will recontaminate the room.
Airfree will take approximately the same time to recover the previous reduced contamination level.
Mold reduction in the environment causes reduction in the mold dependant dust mite population. Airfree also destroys the harmful allergens and fungus freed by dust mite feces that trigger respiratory allergies.
As mentioned before, Airfree eliminates airborne microorganisms included fungi and spores. By eliminating spores new colonies are unlikely to develop, representing less future airborne spores.
Those microscopic microorganisms are easily eliminated inside Airfree's ceramic core capillaries. The temperature inside of Airfree's capillaries is much higher than required to incinerate them. Airfree is your greatest ally in respiratory disease prevention.
Yes, Airfree reduces any kind of organic smell in the room including tobacco.
No. Airfree's sterilization process is natural. Please check our website for conclusive tests regarding particles and ozone.
No. Airfree does not noticeably increase room temperature. To give you an idea 2 Airfree units plugged in the same room will contribute as much heat as the presence of one adult in that same room.
No. Just the heated top lid's middle center is about 183.2° F, which is not enough to burn a child's hand.
