With its large fan motor, IQAir® systems produce more clean air with less
noise than conventional air cleaners.
Unlike most air cleaners, which have the fan motor located after all filter stages, IQAir® systems have the fan in the center, in-between its noise absorbing filters.
IQAir® systems also feature a unique double-walled housing design to reduce sound transmission.
Eight shock absorbers, which hold the fan ensure that vibration isn't transmitted to the housing. The results are impressive. IQAir® systems are suitable for even the most noise sensitive environments and are virtually inaudible at the lowest fan speed setting.
IQAir® systems come with a remote control which allows you to turn the unit on and off, select the fan speed and activate the timer.
IQAir's Intelligent Filter Life Monitor tracks the life of each individual filter to maximize performance and yield. It calculates the remaining filter life down to the hour, based on actual usage.
Six fan speed settings allow you to select the most suitable performance sound ratio.
The automatic timer allows the IQAir system to be programmed to turn on and off at specified times and days.
In an industry where most air cleaners don't actually meet their manufacturers' claims, IQAir® tests and certifies each and every IQAir® system. In our Swiss production facility, each unit is tested for particle filtration efficiency, filter leakage and air delivery. Each unit is issued with its very own two-page Certificate of Performance, detailing the test results for that very machine.
IQAir® systems feature a revolutionary modular tower design, which snaps open to allow access to all filters in a matter of seconds.
Long Filter Life
The replacement filters in IQAir® are inexpensive and rarely need
changing. A HyperHEPA filter will last between two to five years with normal
use. The V-5 cell generally lasts about two years. Most people need to change
their pre-filters every six to eighteen months.
High-Efficiency Pre-Filtration
While most air cleaners use pre-filters with particle efficiencies well below
20%, IQAir® systems typically retain over 90% of particle mass in the
pre-filter. As a result, IQAir's HEPA and gas phase filter are better protected
from premature loading.
Independent Filter Stages
Conventional air cleaners often combine several filter types in one filter
cartridge. As a result, the whole cartridge has to be replaced even if only one
filter type is used up. The IQAir has a modular design, which allows each filter
type to be replaced individually, saving you money in the process.
Intelligent Filter Life Monitor
With ordinary air cleaners you have to either guess when to replace filters or
follow a rigid replacement schedule. IQAir's intelligent filter life monitor
calculates the life of each filter based on actual usage.
Large Filters
To minimize manufacturing cost, most air cleaners use very little filter
material. IQAir uses commercial size filters that are able to collect more
pollutants and last longer.
The
efficiency stated for most air cleaners is purely theoretical. Internal leakage
drastically reduces the actual efficiency of most air cleaners.
IQAir systems feature patented triple sealing technology. First, a unique process ensures that the filter media is 100% sealed in the filter frame. Second, our patented 3D UltraSeal ensures perfect sealing between filter frame and housing. Third, individual seals on each housing module ensure an air tight housing. As a result, IQAir® systems have an actual system efficiency which is higher than the theoretical efficiency of conventional air cleaners.
IQAir® systems use the highest quality fan motor available. The IQAir centrifugal, backward curved fan has an astonishing 700 cfm (1200 m3/h) rating. Because each fan is individually balanced and uses steel ball bearings, it outlasts other fans by years.
Most
air cleaners return the air through a small outlet, which creates annoying air
drafts. IQAir® systems are designed to avoid drafts by evenly returning cleaned
air through a large 320° vented diffuser.
Even though IQAir® systems are very powerful, they are also energy efficient. Outstanding energy efficiency is achieved with a very efficient fan and an advanced fan control setup. As a result, it cost only pennies per day to run an IQAir® system.
Many high-end air cleaners are made from sheet metal which dents easily and where the paint scratches and chips. Many department store air cleaners use inferior plastics which shatter easily. Built to last and look great for a lifetime, IQAir systems are manufactured from fully cured, high-grade injection molded ABS. A 3 mm (0.125 inch) housing thickness makes IQAir systems extremely impact resistant.

The
HealthPro was chosen to receive Consumers Digest BEST BUY award. Consumers
Digest found the HealthPro to be "ideal for allergy sufferers" and praised its
ability to clean air in large spaces. Consumers Digest defines a Best Buy as the
product that offers the most value for a given amount of money. That doesn't
mean that it is the least expensive product in a category, nor does it mean it
is the best-know brand.
Reviewboard Magazine
The
HealthPro was the first product in Reviewboard Magazine's eight-year history to
win two EDITOR'S CHOICE AWARD BEST OF THE BEST two consecutive years (2004 and
2005). Reviewboard Magazine has reviewed more than 22,000 products and the
HealthPro was the first product the magazine has ever selected twice for this
award.

Search reviews the reviewers and says the HealthPro "is the best option for
people with severe allergies". After looking at the many product reviews that
have been done on the HealthPro, Consumer Search said that IQAir is clearly #1.

air purifier that every reviewer selected as the best product in the air
purifier category.
Stiftung Warentest
Stiftung
Warentest is the most prestigious review magazine in Germany. It's also Europe's
main source of product reviews and information. TEST is sponsored by the German
government, and it is considered the most important consumer product review
magazine in the world. TEST chose the HealthPro as the only air purifier in the
air purifier category to receive its highest rating. In a comparison of 10 air
cleaners the IQAir HealthPro was found to remove airborne dust particles twice
as quickly as the next best device.
Discovery Health
When
the popular television series "Body Invaders: Allergies" by Discovery Health set
out to examine the world of air cleaning, their product reviewers announced on
the air that the HealthPro was the only air purifier they tested that would give
a "0" (zero) reading on a ParticleScan test. This meant that their advanced
testing equipment could find no particles escaping from powerful HyperHEPA
filtration in the HealthPro.
Certified Ozone-Free
The
IQHealthPro is 100% ozone-free. It is certified by the IAACM (International
Association of Air Cleaner Manufacturers) to produce absolutely no ozone. Ozone
is a lung irritant that is emitted from ionic air cleaners. Even small amounts
of ozone are undesirable for allergy and asthma sufferers.
The IQAir HealthPro Plus was the
rated the #1 air purifier by Wired Magazine, which reaches 2.1 million readers
every month. In the September 2006 issue, Wired columnist Scott Taves tested a
number of air purifiers with a laser particle counter and found that the
HealthPro Plus "produced air that contained no particles 0.3 micron or larger
(common allergens, germs, and most dust)." Wired Magazine's conclusion: "This
Swiss-made model turns your house into a clean room." The HealthPro Plus
