Our screen check tests are easy to use do-it-yourself test kits that help you identify indoor air contaminants.

Who should use the kits

The screen checks are ideal for home owners who would like to check the indoor air for allergens such as pollen and mold as well as real estate professionals checking a home for mold. Additionally they can also be used by HVAC engineers, teachers, hygienists and building maintenance supervisors as well as many other people with an interest in testing the indoor air quality of buildings.

How to perform the tests

Collect the sample by following the instructions included in the screen check.
Fill in the form provided with the screen check.
Send the sample together with the form to the lab in the provided prepaid envelope.
The lab will send back a report within 7-10 business days.

The microbiological lab reports from the Environmental Diagnostics Laboratory (EDLab) are prepared with a glossary describing each organism at both the genus and species level. The customized laboratory report will help define the environmental conditions, as they existed during your sampling.
